Make Mine Black is a luxury womenswear house founded in London by Jegure Somorin — BA Hons Product Development for the Fashion Industry and BA Hons Architecture (1st Class) graduate, and former garment technologist.

Jegure spent more than a decade inside the UK clothing industry, learning the business from within, understanding its standards, and identifying exactly what was missing for the women she designs for. She built Make Mine Black when she decided to stop working within someone else's vision and create her own.

Every Make Mine Black piece is made in London. French seams. Hand-finished hems. Invisible zips set by hand. Embellishment stitched one thread at a time. We don't do fast, and we don't do almost.

Our first collection, Foundation 5, is exactly what its name promises: the foundation. Built to last, made for the woman who has never needed permission.
