The same architectural form as the leather style, two rectangular drops, one at 10cm and the other at 25cm, each finished with a clean diagonal cut, one ear longer than the other, but here the face carries 100% African wax print fabric in deep wine, burnt orange and white, mounted onto a leather face and backed in leather throughout. The wax print pattern moves within each rectangle like it was always meant to be there. Bold without trying. Cultural without performing.

Deliberately, unapologetically asymmetric. She is not trying to match. She is to be remembered.

Fastened with surgical steel flat disc posts and scroll backs, they sit close to the face and move with the body, presence without noise.

For production pieces, the backing carries the Make Mine Black name engraved vertically along the length. Even the inside is finished.
