The Top
The Top knows exactly what she is.
Cute. Edgy. Entirely in control.
Cut from 100% burnt orange linen, The Top carries one of the defining codes of Foundation 5: a precise 2cm border of 100% obsidian black linen tracing the neckline and framing the empire seam at both front and back.
At the centre back, the same 2cm contrast frames the opening, creating a clean line when fastened.
The same house code.
The same precision.
The back is deliberately open.
A ½-inch elastic channel runs along either side of the back empire, drawing the fabric inward to create an inverted V when worn.
Two hook-and-eye fastenings, one at the neck and one at the empire edge, allow the back to be worn in two distinct configurations.
Fasten both and the centre-back edges meet cleanly, creating a subtle peek-a-boo moment as they part and close with movement.
Fasten at the neck only, and the back opens into an inverted V.

The elasticated back empire defines the waist in both configurations, drawing the shape inward without restricting the body.
Above the empire, the Foundation Line appears in its shorter expression.
A single 2cm vertical stitch follows the body's contour within the volume, defining the bust and fit while allowing the generous architectural shape of the top to remain uninterrupted.
It is a simple intervention.
But it does the work.
The sleeves are balloon sleeves, lined with domette to give them structure and volume and finished with elastic at the cuff.
Worn long, they fall with quiet drama.
Ruched to the upper arm or mid-forearm, they transform the proportion and energy of the silhouette.
Between the two back configurations and the two sleeve positions, The Top offers four distinct ways of being worn.
